Essential Higher Level Leaving Certificate Maths formulas for Paper 1 and Paper 2 are not provided in the Formulae & Tables booklet, meaning students need to know them from memory and understand when and how to use them in exam questions.

Correctly selecting and applying formulas can earn a substantial proportion of the marks in many exam questions. This course gives 5th and 6th Year students a clear, structured way to learn these essential formulas, recognise when they are needed and apply them accurately.

What's included?

Just under 2 hours of teaching delivered through a series of short, focused videos. Students will discover exactly which formulas they need to know from memory for Paper 1 and Paper 2 and learn when and how to use them in exam questions.
Students will see how the formulas are applied in worked examples, helping them move beyond simply memorising formulas to understanding how they are used.
A comprehensive downloadable guide covering the off-by-heart formulas required by the Higher Level curriculum, guidance on when and how to use them, essential exam skills and fully worked examples using real Leaving Certificate Paper 1 and Paper 2 exam questions.
The guide provides a quick-reference resource students can revisit throughout 5th and 6th Year as different topics are covered.

By knowing the formulas they need and understanding how to use them, students can become more confident recognising and applying the correct formula in their own question practice and avoid unnecessarily losing valuable marks in their exams.

Students will have ongoing access to the video lessons and downloadable guide, allowing them to work at their own pace and return to the material when preparing for class tests, mocks and the Leaving Certificate.

Know the formulas. Recognise when to use them. Apply them accurately in Higher Level Leaving Certificate Maths.
