I am a PhD-qualified Maths educator with more than 15 years of teaching experience including private Maths tuition, university teaching and undergraduate supervision, as well as delivering specialist professional training.
I created these classes because capable students can lose confidence when Maths has not been explained in a way that makes sense to them.
My approach is clear, supportive, interactive and strongly focused on helping students confidently apply their knowledge to exam questions.
I offer small-group classes with a maximum of six students, personally taught by me. This allows me to provide individual guidance and personalised feedback while creating a supportive environment where students can ask questions, learn from mistakes and build confidence.
As a parent of three children, I understand how difficult it can be to watch your child struggle. I believe students make the greatest progress when the student, teacher and parent work together consistently.
Each year, I receive excellent feedback from students and parents about improvements in confidence, understanding and Maths results.

Each class takes place live online for one hour every week.
Maths requires consistent practice, so students are expected to complete independent study and question practice outside of their weekly class.
A manageable amount of homework is provided to reinforce the material taught. Students can expect to spend approximately 1 - 1.5 hours per week completing homework, depending on their year group, the topic being covered and their individual level.
Homework is reviewed weekly and feedback is provided. Students who practise consistently and apply the feedback they receive are likely to gain the greatest benefit from the classes.
Classes are delivered through Zoom. Joining details will be provided after your child’s registration and class placement have been confirmed.
The 5th Year Higher Level class is for students currently studying Higher Level Maths in 5th Year.
The Ordinary Level class supports both 5th and 6th Year Ordinary Level students.
The 6th Year Higher Level class is specifically for students preparing for the Higher Level Leaving Certificate examination.
All class materials are uploaded weekly to the class group’s folder in Google Drive, which students can access through the Student Portal. Each student will also have their own personal folder where they can upload homework for review.
During class, students will complete exercises and practise questions and will receive individual guidance and personalised feedback as they work.
Students can complete their work using pen and paper or digitally. Those who prefer to work digitally may use an iPad or tablet with a digital pen, a touchscreen laptop with a digital pen, or a laptop connected to a writing tablet such as a Wacom.
Yes. Our classes are run in a small group setting to facilitate a personalised experience for students. With a maximum of six students, there is plenty of opportunity for individual attention. Students can raise their hand or simply unmute on Zoom to ask a question at any time! Students receive individual guidance and feedback throughout each lesson.
Asking questions in class is always encouraged and we will ensure that student's leave the class feeling confident that they have a good understanding of what was covered.
If there is something that students don't understand when reviewing material outside of class, they can e-mail us at [email protected] and they will get a reply as soon as possible with an explanation.
Yes. Many students join because they feel lost, anxious or unsure of their ability in Maths. The classes are supportive and designed to help students build their understanding and confidence progressively.
With a maximum of six students per class, students have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, practise what they are learning and receive personalised guidance and feedback. Students are encouraged to participate but are never put under pressure to answer questions or share their work.
The small-group environment can be particularly reassuring for students who lack confidence. They quickly realise that they are not alone in finding certain topics or questions challenging and that other students also ask questions, make mistakes and need additional explanation. This can help students become more comfortable asking for help and learning from their mistakes.
I regularly receive feedback from students and parents about improvements in confidence in Maths as students progress through the classes. With regular teaching, practice, encouragement and personalised feedback, students are supported in developing both their Maths skills and their confidence over time.
Payment for classes is made on a subscription basis.
Students initially begin on a temporary €49 weekly subscription. This allows students to join quickly at any point during the month and covers their classes until the next monthly billing date on the 1st of the month. The weekly subscription includes all classes, materials and individual feedback provided during this period.
Your first weekly payment is collected on the day that you join, with further payments collected every seven days.
New students may attend one trial class only before deciding whether to continue. If your child attends their trial class and does not wish to continue, you can simply cancel the temporary weekly subscription at least 1 day before the next weekly payment is due.
If your child continues after their trial class, a minimum one-month commitment applies. Their temporary weekly subscription will automatically move to the €172 monthly membership on the next monthly billing date. You will receive an email reminder a few days before the monthly subscription begins.
The monthly membership includes all weekly classes, class materials, personalised feedback for students and parents, including written progress feedback at key points throughout the year, and targeted exam practice sessions.
After the minimum commitment period, parents can cancel their monthly membership if they no longer wish their child to continue with classes.
Cancellation must be completed at least 1 day before the next subscription payment is due to avoid the next payment being processed. Parents will be provided with simple instructions on how to cancel inside the Student Portal.
Monthly payments are collected on the 1st of each month, with the final payment for the academic year taken on 1st May.
Please review the Terms and Conditions for full details regarding payments, billing and cancellations.
If you have any further questions about about my classes, please contact me through my Contact Page.
In order to fully benefit from the classes, it is best to attend a term of classes. Our lessons are progressive from week to week. Regular and consistent Maths practice tends to yield the best results for students.
You can cancel your child’s subscription at any time before the next billing date. To avoid being charged for the next billing period, please ensure that you cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next payment is due. You will receive an email a few days before your subscription is due for renewal.
The weekly subscriptions are designed to help students get started quickly. Students automatically move from the temporary weekly subscription to the standard ongoing monthly membership on the next billing cycle. You will receive an email to notify you that you have been moved to the monthly payment plan. Monthly memberships are charged on the 1st of every month.
Cancelling is very straightforward. Clear instructions are provided for parents within our student portal area. You will receive all of the details after registration. Parents can update, change or cancel their subscriptions easily within the student portal.
Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information.
Maths is a skill that develops through consistent practice and regular engagement over time. Our classes are carefully structured so that students build on their knowledge and skills from week to week, while regularly revisiting and reinforcing previous learning.
With a maximum of six students per class, groups are intentionally kept small to provide a personalised and focused learning experience. Students have the opportunity to participate, ask questions and receive individual guidance and feedback throughout each lesson.
This small-group, progressive approach allows us to identify areas that need further work, reinforce key skills and support students as they develop their understanding, confidence and ability to tackle increasingly challenging Maths questions.
For these reasons, our classes are designed as an ongoing programme rather than once-off or drop-in grinds, and we are unable to accommodate students who wish to attend on a sporadic basis.
New students may trial one class before deciding whether the programme is right for them. If they choose to continue after their trial, a minimum one-month commitment applies.
As places are limited to six students per class, your child's monthly membership also secures their place in their chosen class. This allows us to keep groups small and maintain the personalised level of teaching, guidance and feedback provided.
Regular attendance allows students to benefit fully from the structured teaching, practice and personalised feedback provided and to make meaningful progress in their Maths skills and confidence over time.
If you have any further questions, please contact us using our contact form.
You can join the waitlist for the relevant group. You will be contacted when a suitable place becomes available.
No. Every student begins from a different starting point, and progress depends on a number of factors, including attendance, effort, consistent practice and prior knowledge.
Students benefit from the support of a highly experienced, PhD-qualified Maths teacher, alongside personalised feedback and structured support to help them strengthen their understanding, build confidence and work towards achieving their highest possible grade.
Each year, I receive excellent feedback from students and parents about the progress students have made, both in their confidence and their Maths results. However, every student is different and a particular grade or examination result cannot be guaranteed.
