Hi, I'm Dr Áine Nolan.
I’m a PhD-qualified Maths educator with more than 15 years’ teaching experience, helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding and improve their approach to Leaving Certificate Maths.
When students struggle with Maths, it doesn't always mean they lack ability. Often, they simply need clearer explanations, practical problem-solving strategies and consistent support.
That’s exactly what I provide through my small-group online Maths classes.
Here’s What I Believe
I believe students make the greatest progress when they understand Maths rather than simply memorise methods.
Leaving Certificate Maths requires students to recognise concepts, interpret questions and apply what they know — often when a question looks very different from the examples they have practised before.
That is why my teaching focuses on helping students learn to think mathematically and approach unfamiliar questions with confidence.
I want every student to have the understanding, support and encouragement they need to make steady progress and achieve their best in Maths.
